Fast Ethernet Mediaconvertor 100 Base-Tx/100 Base-Fx according to IEEE 802.3

The RPO Fast Ethernet Mediaconvertor enables the transfer from twisted pair to low cost polymer optical fiber segments within a Fast Ethernet Network.
The mediaconvertor supports full duplex links with a max. range of approximately 70 m.

Fiber Optic Cable Interface RS 232 – C (Data-Line-Powered) with ‘RPOpto-Clamp’ terminal.

The RS 232 – C Interface meets the needs of the Optoelectronic Industry within the 660 nm range for the polymer optical fiber. Fitted with our ‘RPOpto-Clamp’ the attachement of the polymer optical fiber with max. 2.3 mm diameter is achieved by means of straightforward clamping.
The polymer optical fiber is processed without fiber optic connectors. The preparation is with tools like

- RPsimple Cut Art.No. 910SW0010001 for distances < 10 m
- Cutting Pliers Art.No. 910SZ00100001 for distances > 10 m to < 60 m
- Grinding Tools for distances up to 100 m

The polymer optical fiber is attached within the ‘RPopto-Clamp’ by a slider which can be put into the following slots

1. Open The polymer optical fiber can now be inserted
2. Clamped The polymer optical fiber is now fixed tightly
3. Closed Dirt/Dust protection

Easy to assemble optical fiber connector RP F-05 Series

The RP F-05 connector is designed for fast and easy termination with the 2.2 mm polymer optical fiber within the F-05 standard. The RP F-05 connector is applicable for manual and machined assembly. It can be supplied as a single component as well as ready assembled components for various polymer optical fibers or in customer specified lengths.

The RP F-05 is compatible to Toslink connectors.

Optical diode holder for re-release, plugless “RPopto Clamp“ cable connection

The “RPopto Clamp“ is an optical fibre diode holder designed for polymer optical fibre (POF) applications with a sheath diameter of no more than 2.3 mm.To attach the re-release bracket for the POF cables in the diode holder,which is equipped with a transmitting or receiving diode, simply clamp it in place.
